Creating new requests is a breeze in the byDesign Workspace. To get started, simply select the "Create +" button in the left navigation bar. You will find this under your profile module in the navigation bar.

Upon clicking the button, you'll be greeted with the option of creating a Design or Specialized Hours request. If you're unsure what your request falls under, click here to read more on the differences.

  • Once you click the request type, you'll be asked to give it a name. Be as descriptive as possible with the names. It'll make it much easier for you to search for it later on when you're looking back on old requests.

  • Next, you'll be asked to provide a due date. Keep in mind, you're only able to select a due date that aligns with your plan's available turnaround time (typically between two or three days out). If you select a date on the weekend, your request will be moved to the next business day. Giving our team as much notice as possible, always help us create the best possible result!

  • On the next screen, you'll now be asked to provide a description. This box is big for a reason! Give us as much detail as humanly possible here, as having everything we need to do an amazing job on a request helps us get it done on time, and at a high bar. Things here could include copy for the request or ideas in your head of what it might look like.

  • Clicking next will bring you to a few different questions. Here, you can upload relevant files that help us get the job done, like a document with the text or an image you'd like to include. On this pop-up, you can also add any links like websites you want to mimic or a Google Doc file that provides instructions. Finally, let us know if there's any specific dimensions or file types you might need us to deliver for this request.

  • Finally, you'll be greeted with a screen to review your entire request. Make sure everything looks good and click Submit Request!

Once a request is submitted, it's automatically added to your queue and marked as Open. You'll be able to see it on your Dashboard and All Requests view. Your Success Manager will receive a notification, review the request, and finally assign the task to someone on the team.
