byDesign prides itself on our ability to maintain a human touch and one-to-one connection with our work — whether that's through Slack or the byDesign Workspace. We do however like to set expectations when it comes to communicating with our team.
Our official operating hours are between 10am ET and 7pm ET, Monday through Friday. You can also see our online status at anytime by viewing the availability icon above the "Chat in Slack" button on the left side navigation bar in the byDesign Workspace.
Success Managers will respond to any comments either in the byDesign Workspace or Slack, within two hours (during operating hours). Specialists will respond to any comments either in the byDesign Workspace or Slack, within twelve hours (during operating hours). In most cases, this will be sooner, but we want you to know when you can expect a response from us (at the absolute latest).
We ask that any communication via Slack happens in your main, dedicated channel. Our entire byDesign team has access to that channel, and side DM conversations negatively affect our ability to all be on the same page. We ask that unless a message contains personal or sensitive information, discussion, comments, and questions always take place in the main channel. This ensures that we can all work together in a collaborative environment!
